Free website audit for London, Ontario businesses
YXU Studio audits the website you already have, free and without a call. It runs Google's own Lighthouse on a phone and on a desktop, checks the three Core Web Vitals, compares your site against your Google Business Profile, and tells you who really owns your domain. You keep the numbers either way.
What the audit measures
It runs Google Lighthouse twice, once as a phone on mobile data and once as a desktop, because those two scores are often thirty points apart and the phone one is where your customers actually live.
That returns four scores out of a hundred for performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO, plus the three Core Web Vitals Google ranks on: largest contentful paint, which should be under 2.5 seconds, cumulative layout shift under 0.1, and interaction to next paint under 200 milliseconds.
What a score cannot tell you
A fast site can still be the wrong site, so the audit also covers the things a tool does not measure:
- Whether you have a page per service, or one page trying to rank for everything
- Whether your name, address and phone match your Google Business Profile character for character
- Whether the site is usable with a thumb, in daylight, standing in a driveway
- Whether anything on it is out of date enough to cost you a call
- Who the domain is registered to, which is public and takes two minutes to check
What you get back
One page in plain English: the numbers, what is costing you the most, and whether fixing the site or replacing it is cheaper. If the honest answer is that your site is fine, that is what it says.
No call is required to get it, and nothing is booked at the end of it.
Why it is free
Because it is how I find work, and because it is mostly automated: the tools are public and the run takes minutes. Charging for it would only slow down the part where you decide whether I am worth talking to.
It is the same audit I run before approaching any business in this city, so you are seeing exactly what I would see.
What the audit checks
| Check | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Lighthouse, mobile | How the site behaves on a phone on mobile data |
| Lighthouse, desktop | The best case, and how far the phone is from it |
| Core Web Vitals | The speed numbers Google ranks on |
| Page structure | Whether each service can be found on its own |
| Google Business Profile match | Whether your details agree everywhere |
| Domain registration | Whether the web address is really yours |
Questions people ask
Is the website audit really free?
Yes. It does not require a call, a deposit or an email sequence. It is run from public tools against your public homepage, and you get the numbers whether or not you hire me.
How long does it take?
The tools take a few minutes. Reading the result and writing it up in plain English takes longer, so expect it back within a business day.
What if the audit says my site is fine?
Then it says so, and there is nothing to sell you. A site that is fast, has a page per service and matches your Google profile does not need replacing because someone wants a sale.
Do you audit my Google Business Profile as well?
The parts that are public: category, service area, hours, and whether your details match the website. Changing the profile is yours to do, and I will tell you what to change whether or not you buy anything.
